David Walliams lost his contract with book publisher.
Prolific children's author and entertainer David Walliams has parted ways with his publisher HarperCollins UK, as confirmed by the firm.
A representative for the company commented: "Upon deliberation, and under the leadership of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish additional books by David Walliams."
It has been reported that the move was reached following an investigation into allegations of questionable actions involving women.
The publisher declined to specify the motivations for this action, noting: "We do not comment on confidential company decisions."
An Illustrious Writing Journey
Walliams stands as a most prolific writers for young readers, having sold more than 60 million copies worldwide in dozens of tongues.
His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins fifteen years ago.
Some of his works, including *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have also been adapted into television films.
He has published in excess of 40 works in total, encompassing a festive story named *Santa & Son*, which came out under HarperCollins in October.

His initial claim to fame came on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has been honored with National Television Awards for his duties as an arbiter on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was awarded an OBE in 2017 honoring his contributions to philanthropic and artistic endeavors.
This development follows the naming of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's recent CEO in October.
